FARO SAFARIS guarantees you a truly unique & comprehensive collection hunting experience, in addition to high quality trophies.

Departure at dawn with 4 wheels vehicles, searching for fresh animal footprints on the dirt road or near water points, tracking and approaching game on foot with qualified professional hunters. This method will take you to the initiatory meanders of the wildlife and yourself discovery.

HUNTING BLOCK 18

The hunting concession of 173000 acres is located in Northwestern Cameroon, bordering Faro National Park. Its GPS coordinates are: 8.02 ° to 8.27 ° North and 12.97 ° to 13.37 ° East.

The open territory is landlocked between a mountain chain rising to 1300 meters, the magnificent Faro river and one of its tributaries, Mayo Ndugba, a natural barrier to poaching during the rainy season. The reserve boasts 250 km of tracks without villages or inhabitants.The concession can be accessed from Ngaoundere in the South (175 km from the camp by road including 75 km of track with a driving time of 4 hours).

AN INVITATION TO TOTAL DISCONNECTION

Embracing the style of local architecture, the camp is perfectly integrated into the surrounding forest. Built on the edge of the Faro River natural pools, this idyllic setting invites to quiet disconnection.

A taxidermy unit enables preliminary treatment of animal skins and trophies.

FARO SAFARIS offers locally sourced fine and French cuisine including local specialties and drinks at will (only Champagne is chargeable).

ACCOMODATION

The “boukarous” bedrooms and thatched roof huts blend harmoniously with the natural setting.

Bedrooms are furnished with king size beds under large mosquito nets with private bathrooms.

Daily laundry service is included. Camp is solar powered. Wi-fi access available.

FIREARMS

Two rifled barrel firearms below gauge 9mm (300W or 8X68S like) for medium licence, one above gauge 9mm (375HH or 416 like) for big game licence and a smooth-bore rifle are authorized by national legislation.
