Hunting Cameroon

Namibia has one of the longest hunting seasons in Africa, stretching over 10 months from February 1st to November 30th.
The seasonal rains at the beginning of the year breathe new life into the arid landscape and bring back the vibrant greens of the vast grasslands. Early-season hunting is more difficult, but it takes place in a magnificent green landscape not found later in the year. As the months go by, the bush dries out and is transformed into the more classic, golden-hued savannah landscape for which Namibia is famous.

The Sangwali hunting area consists of a core zone of 20,000 contiguous hectares (of which 10,000 hectares are unfenced and 10,000 hectares are high fenced, as rhinos live on the property), surrounded by a further 80,000 hectares (a mixture of open and fenced areas).

Large herds of plains game dominate this landscape, as do abundant populations of leopard and cheetah.

As well as excellent leopard hunting, Sangwali is also home to the white rhino, offering the discerning hunter the chance to hunt this behemoth in a very large reserve.
