With its rich diversity of landscapes, unique wildlife and friendly people, Uganda packs a lot into one small country. The country is home to one of Africa’s highest mountain ranges (the Rwenzoris), the source of the Nile, the world’s longest river, and the largest lake on the African continent.
Among the 5 hunting zones managed by our partner, the Kabwoya zone is considered the hidden gem of the Albertine Rift Valley. Nestled in the picturesque plains between the Bunyoro escarpment in Western Uganda and the shores of Lake Albert, the area extends over almost 23,000 hectares of protected land.
Our partner has dedicated his life to this piece of paradise, which is home to thousands of Ugandan Kobs, a growing population of Nile Buffaloes, Nile Bushbucks, East African Defassa Waterbucks, Oribis, Eastern Bushduikers, Forest Hogs and various primates, with spectacular views of Lake Albert and the blue mountains of the DRC.
This small reserve is one of the most unusual wonders Uganda has to offer.
